Appreciation

This week is Teacher’s Appreciation Week! 👩🏾‍🏫

I know its the math teacher in me….but this made me think of mathematical and financial appreciation, which I taught when I taught quantitative modeling in high school years ago.

What is THAT kind of appreciation?🤔

Well…it is an increase in the value of an asset over time. This can be due to various factors like increased demand, limited supply, inflation, or improved performance. It represents a growth in the monetary worth of something you own, such as stocks, real estate, or currency. 💰

Did you know this also applies to gifts and talents? ✨

Jesus’ Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) isn’t just about money; it’s about the gifts God entrusts to each of us. Whether it’s kindness, creativity, intellect, or any other ability, we’re called to use it, not bury it in fear or doubt.

The servants, in this story, who invested their talents were praised and rewarded. The one who did nothing lost even what he had. This powerful story reminds us that our purpose isn’t passive. God calls us to actively engage with our unique gifts to serve Him and His people.🎓

Don’t underestimate what you have. Step out in faith, use your talents diligently to make a difference, and watch them multiply. This is how we honor God and contribute to His kingdom. 🙏🏾

What step will you take today to invest your gifts for His glory?🙌🏾
